Design Your Own Upholstery

The goldilocks of our upholstery program, Custom Select is built around a fairly neutral sitting position and a mid-sized scale. These proportions and the ability to accommodate most common sizes make it a best seller for Kincaid Furniture. From a styling standpoint it can be customized to range from a traditionally skirted three cushion sofa to a casual two seat cushion with a bun foot. Custom Select offers five arm styles, four base/leg styles (including skirt), and attached or semi-attached back cushions. Custom Select sizes range from 83 up to 102 inches wide and comes in two depths at either 40 or 44 inches (overall).

The studio or apartment sized sibling to Custom Select offers many of the same features and styles but in a scale that is more suitable to smaller spaces. In keeping with the proportionately smaller approach, the overall depth is 36 inches throughout the program. Studio Select features include three arm styles, three leg styles (including skirt), and attached or semi-attached back cushions. Studio Select sofas can be built in widths as narrow as 75 inches.

If a more plush feel is the priority, then Comfort Select is the solution. Generous in scale, Comfort Select is built around a seating formula that utilizes a slightly lower seat height coupled with a deeper cushion. This results in a more lounge-type position that is supportive but allows you to sit deeper 'into' the furniture. Its styling is casual and transitional and includes top-stitch (welt-less) seams for a clean look. Four arm choices and three base/leg styles are available in an assortment of sofas, chairs, and sectional configurations. Sofa widths start at 88 inches and extend up to 108 inches allowing for the largest length options in the Kincaid line.
